Why "Sizzle"?
I'm Betsy Guadagno. I coach big-hearted, accomplished people who are listening to that pull — and asking, "Who am I now?" and "What's next?"
Who I work with
My current and former clients are engaged, passionate people who have built full lives and successful careers. Yet they reach a point where they feel pulled in a new direction — and wonder what the next steps are to explore the possibilities. I help clients gain awareness and clarity around what is yearning to emerge, and support them in processing what comes up and exploring possibilities for next steps.
How I work
We slow the tape down and pay attention to what makes you feel alive — treating your emotions as information, not problems. You don't have to leave your job to change your life. Change happens from the inside out, in steps small enough to actually take.
Why "Sizzle"? Because when you're connected to what's true for you, you come alive.
Leaders and Teams
I also work with leaders and teams on leadership development, team building and strategic planning, in sessions designed to be interactive and deliver impact. Clients include Google, Kaiser Permanente and BAWSI.
About
I've led thousands of one-on-one coaching sessions and hundreds of in-person and virtual group sessions. My coaching philosophy and interactive facilitation style draw on a background in executive coaching, sales management, learning and development, improvisational theater, entrepreneurship, positive psychology, and Appreciative Inquiry. I'm an XChange Approach Certified Guide, hold a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, and I'm a contributing author to Dr. Dan Siegel's Play and Creativity for Psychotherapists (Norton, 2017).
Outside of work, I love travel, building community, and sports — Michigan, Stanford, Bay FC, the Valkyries, and more. I live in Palo Alto with my wife, our son, and our dog Coco.
